A little about me

Hello wanderers, dreamers, and fellow adventure seekers! My name is Angie and I’m so glad you stumbled upon my blog. I have always had a passion for travel; whether it’s a weekend getaway, road trip or backpacking.

As a child, one of my earliest dreams was to embark on adventures across the globe with nothing but a backpack. The idea of exploring new countries, immersing myself in different cultures, and experiencing the world beyond the confines of familiarity filled me with an itching excitement. The curiosity continues to drive me forward, inspiring me to chase after new horizons and make the most of every opportunity to explore the wonders of our world.

I graduated college during the pandemic. This meant that the travel plans that I had were put on a pause. It was an odd time for everyone. As a new graduate, it was a strange new reality that I had to navigate. I worked through the pandemic and I saved up money so that one day my plans wouldn’t be just a daydream. Shortly after turning 25, I quit my job and took a backpacking gap year as the world had started to open back up.

One of my favorite and most powerful quotes I have ever heard is that a smile means the same thing in every language. Whenever I get the chance, I leave this quote so that others can read it.

I’ve tried to create a digital scrapbook of this blog to share with you. I take my camera with me everywhere so that I can attempt to freeze time and encapsulate the essence of each adventure whether it’s just a peaceful sunset or just quirky street art.

You can shop my online storefront where I have put up postcards, calendars, and more featuring my favorite frozen memories.

I invite you to follow along and hopefully you’ll find something here that resonates with you and inspires your wanderlust. Thanks for stopping by!
